Measurement of specific surface area of powdered zeolite by the BET method.
Supports measurement of catalysts and activated carbon! Analysis of pore distribution is also possible.
We conduct specific surface area measurements of powdered zeolite using the BET method. The BET theory is known as a model and mathematical formulation of the physical adsorption phenomenon of gas molecules on solid surfaces, allowing for the calculation of the specific surface area of powders by measuring the amount of gas molecules physically adsorbed on the surface of powdered solids. In the BET plot of synthetic zeolite, parameters are calculated in the relative pressure range of 0 to 0.05, resulting in a specific surface area of 938 m²/g. [Other Applications] - In addition to zeolites, it can also be used to measure the specific surface area of catalysts and activated carbon. - It is also possible to analyze pore distribution. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
