Measurement of specific surface area of powdered zeolite by the BET method.

Supports measurement of catalysts and activated carbon! Analysis of pore distribution is also possible.

We conduct specific surface area measurements of powdered zeolite using the BET method. The BET theory is known as a model and mathematical formulation of the physical adsorption phenomenon of gas molecules on solid surfaces, allowing for the calculation of the specific surface area of powders by measuring the amount of gas molecules physically adsorbed on the surface of powdered solids. In the BET plot of synthetic zeolite, parameters are calculated in the relative pressure range of 0 to 0.05, resulting in a specific surface area of 938 m²/g. [Other Applications] - In addition to zeolites, it can also be used to measure the specific surface area of catalysts and activated carbon. - It is also possible to analyze pore distribution. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Measurement of specific surface area of photocatalyst "Titanistar" sponge titanium using the BET method.

Introduction of observations on large sponge titanium and small sponge titanium.

The sponge titanium small was classified into processed and unprocessed products, and the differences in surface conditions were observed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) at varying magnifications. [BET Method] ■ Sponge Titanium Large - BET specific surface area 5.4203 m²/g micropore (pore diameter less than 40 angstroms) - BET specific surface area 4.1314 m²/g macropore (pore diameter between 40 and 360 angstroms) ■ Sponge Titanium Small - BET specific surface area 3.3912 m²/g micropore (pore diameter less than 40 angstroms) - BET specific surface area 2.5581 m²/g macropore (pore diameter between 40 and 360 angstroms) [SEM Observation of Sponge Titanium Surface] Please refer to the PDF document for SEM observation photos. *For additional details, please download and view the PDF.
